How to have iTunes open upon ipod mount

I have noticed that iTunes has stopped from automatically loading when ipod is mounted. I checked iTunes and its checked to auto load, yet it does not load  Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

mine did this for a while, try unmounting your ipod from itunes then closeing itunes down fully then load ipod again. just try unmounting and remounting and closing itunes untill it works again, thats what i did.

Did you stop or disable the iPod service?
Did you try a reboot?

Yes I have rebooted many times but still itunes does not load. By disabling ipod service, do u mean the ipodmanager? If so, that is still on my computer yet it does not matter since itunes is now the manager for the ipod right? I have even tried reinstalling iTunes and have gone as far as to reformatting my ipod. Still wont load. I will try your idea Fundex. Thanks everyone.

Constant remounting did not help either.. Oh well maybe the next itunes update or ipod update will help. I liked simply placing ipod on dock for 30 seconds and taking it off to find all my songs and playlists beautifully sinced. Would be nice to have working again.

iTunes removes iPod Manager so if you still have that then something has gone wrong. I was refering to iPod Service in Services (see admin tools)
