just wondering if somebody can answer my question...

i've got i-tunes selected to "only update checked songs". which it does. but it's the way that it does it that confuses me.

the first time it did it, it wiped my i-pod clean then added everything on it. then everytime i connected my i-pod it only "updated" it, i.e. transfered new songs that i've selected, and updated tags on the ipod for songs i already selected.

now, whenever i connect my ipod, it wipes it clean then re-adds all the songs.

how do i make my ipod only "update" instead of wipe it clean when i connect it.

the only extras i use on my ipod are the EU volume enhancement, does that have an effect?
