Stupid Questions
1. How can I lable my Mp3s that are from CD;s or Concerts so they play in the correct order with Itunes.
2. Why did Itunes change all my Id-3 tags from Ephpod, and reorganizze it, is there any way to get it to change back
3. Is there anyway to group an album like Kill bill soundtrack into one folder and under the artist menu have only one folder for kill bill, I hate having Artist folder that only have like 2 songs in it
4. I have a big folder of Random Mp3s that I dont want to retag and everything so I just throw it on the ipod as Random Mp3s but I want to get it so when I play that folder on my ipod some songs play more frequently then others, I thought rating them would do this but I dont think it does, What does rating them do?>
Thanks very much!

Once you rip your CD, select all the songs and from the Advanced menu, select Get CD Track Names. If your CD is in the database, the tags will be filled in (you should check these for accuracy though). If you have Connect to Internet When Need pref enabled, iTunes will automatically look up CDs when you insert them. To set tracks in the correct order for items that aren't in the CDDB database, select all the songs from an album and press Control-I to bring up the Get Info dialog. Under the Info tab, you will notice two text boxes under Track Number (xx to xx). While you have all the songs selected fill in the second box with the total number of tracks on the disc. Then close the window and select only the first song on the disc, and do Get Info on it. Now fill the first Track Number box in with 1, click the Next button, change that song to 2, etc. until you have labeled all the songs on the album. Now when you sort by album or artist, your tracks will be in the correct order.
2. Not sure about Ephpod, but I think iTunes uses a later tags version than some other apps do, which can cause problems. If you have your songs backed up, select them all and then choose Convert ID3 tags from the Advanced menu. That may or may not work for you.
3. Kind of. Select all the songs in the album, do Get Info, and select the Part of a Compilation checkbox. iTunes stores all compilations as iTunes Music > Compilations > Album > Songs, so they'll all be in the same folder for that album. But it won't list them together if you sort by artist (cause the artists are all different), sort by album or browse instead to see them all together.
4. Ratings can help with that. Create a new smart playlist (File > New Smart Playlist...) and set rules for Rating, Play Count, and Last Played. But you really should get all your tags in order, iTunes works best if they are.
