is it possible to see a folder in library?

my mp3s are in a folder called mp3 and in that i have a folder called new, and its where my newly downloaded songs are, and i tunes doesnt see whats in the folder, is there a way to fix it?

iTunes doesn't see folders at all. It just sees the music you've added to your library and it organizes based on Tags.So, while you can add that folders (File>Add Folder) of tunes to your library, it will never be displayed as such.
You could make a smartlist of "Recently Imported" tunes, and view that. It would then show you this music as you add it.
One thing to get a way from when using a Media Management program (like MC9 or iTunes) is to stop thinking in terms of folders and start thinking in terms of tagging.

I use individual folders with my music, I just find it easier, even when all the tags are done. So yeah, just import the folder and you'll be right.Adam (no, not me:P), check you PM!

Just import each folder individually, and then make a playlist for each of them, then do the next one. I know, its a long and time consuming method, but I can't think of any other way.Adam at 2007-11-15 16:50:09 >

Only if your tags are done.If so, get a program called tagscannner: http://www.rialnet.ru/~serega/files/tagscan.zip
And then rebuild the filename from the tags, its quite easy.
