is there a way to use a Mac format ipod with Windows ITunes
When you connect a Mac formatted Ipod while running ITunes for Windows, you get an error telling you to reinstall the Ipod software. Is there a workaround/hack to make this work? A couple of weeks ago, I tried to use XPlay to connect the mac Ipod with my PC, but I gave up after a couple of attempts and a big headache. I just can't believe that this is so difficult.

Hey stark23x, I'm very surprised at this. How is a windows machine reading an HFS+ formatted drive? Do you have Xplay or MacDrive or MacOpener installed?

yea that would be awesome information to know...i also have a mac-based ipod that i received from a friend as a gift...(and while i'm still waiting to get my firewire port i'm trying to find out as much as i can)...is there any kind of special software needed to do this or do you just end the ituneshelper.exe process??
