So as I understand it, my iPod can only sync with my copy if iTunes on my PC. I'm OK with that because I have all my MP3's on a drive seperate from my OS. My question is this. In the event of a reformat or if I move this drive to another computer and install iTunes on that machine and link these mp3's to that machine, will I loose all my Ratings etc? It is my belief that all those files are stores in the iTunes file that is in your music directory, wich in my case is on my seperate directory. This leads to a second problem

A future concern is that I want to point iTunes to a drive that will serve as my network drive in my house for my MP3's. Will I be able to set up iTunes on my other machines and be able to sync my ipod on them and share a copy of the Ratings etc, or must I pick only one machine to sync and use my pod on?
