I cant see song names on ipod
Ok, here is my strange problem: When clicking the ipod, i can select to show all attributes of the songs - except the song names! Thus i can view album, artist, bitrate and what ever - but not the song name!
Double clicking results in the track playing - as it should. 'Get info' also works fine. Furthermore, the songs that are in playlists show up ok. But when i browse my ipod, i cannot see the song names.
What am I doing wrong??

While you have the ipod clicked go up to edit and view options. Make sure song name is checked. Hopefully this is where your problem is.

That's what I thought - but song name is not there, so I can't check it! Everything else is checked, so I see all info except the name of the track.
This is soooooooo frustrating - apart from this I am very pleased with Itunes for windows.

if you are using windoze, ya might wanna try downloading ephpod. While not as versatile as itunes, It has repaired my ipod's database many times, as I have had that problem before.

Ahh - i fired up eph-pod, verified the database on my ipod, saved the changes - and now the song show up as they should in itunes...

where do you get eph-pod? maybe that can help me... i can't widen the column for song title (every other column has the capability) what am i doing wrong?
