Has anyone had any success using a Mac formatted iPod with Windows iTunes ?

I work on both platforms and it'd be great to move seamlessly between the two. Using Macdrive enables me to work of the 30GB Pod between both OSX and WinXP.

Currently running Macdrive on Win XP which work fine with most other iTunes apps eg. anapod, ephod

I had it working briefly but it doesn't seem to like it.
I have been able to use a Win formatted iPod on OS X without any probs.

Any suggestions ?
