At work I installed the new iTunes on my pc. I also have a mac with iTunes and a co-worker with a mac. We've listened to each other's music for months.

For no real reason other than to see what it was like, I installed on the PC and was amazed that the two mac libraries automatically appeared. I was able to stream music just fine across the network, even across platform!
