First download is garbled - hmmff!

Just like the CDROM frisbees I've been known to create...I've just wasted $.99 to download an UNPLAYABLE song from iTunes. Song is completely garbled...
Same effect is noticed when I PREVIEW any song from the library.
Anyone else see this??

I played an MP3 from the HardDisk and from mounted iPod directly. I get SAME garbled effect.

So, download is probably fine, the PLAYER is hosed. I'm gonna re-install.

SOLVED!!! (at least for my system)

The culprit for me was Total Recorder. TR inserted itself as the "Default Playback Device". I simply reset this to be my Soundcaard:

ControlPanel > Sound&Audio > Audio > SoundPlayBack > DefaultDevice

Select your SOUNDCARD, not TotalRecorder!!

This means that TR cannot record iTune Radio streams (rutt rohhh ...I hope MMJB doesn't catch wind of this... )

Good Luck!!
