I'm sure this has been covered, but I couldn't find it and I need some help fast- I apologize for duplication...

I am transferring my entire Music Folder to an external firewire drive (takes an hour!). I need to play it from a new PowerBook at a friend's tonight. I want to use my existing playlists, so...

If I:

* keep the Music Folder's name the same, and
* leave it at the root level of the FW drive (as in the internal), and
* I replace the library & XML files on the laptop with the ones from my orig. Mac...

Will I be able to point the laptop iTunes to the FW Music Folder and load it with all my playlists? If not, is there another way to make the laptop see the FW Music Folder and use my existing playlists?

Any help would be much appreciated- I have about an hour or so left...
