MarWare 3G SportSuite Convertible

I wonder if anyone here has used this particular ipod jacket. I ordered one because I was told from one of the MarWare support staff that I did not have to take the jacket off the iPod in order to place it on the dock. Well, I received it today, put the jacket on... and guess what!? I cant put the ipod on its cradle because the jacket wont allow it!
The thing is that I paid almost $9 for shipping, and Marware will make me paid the same amount to ship it back for a return. That almost $20 that I would be lossing from my return.

Should I keep the jacket and live with the pain; or should I return it?

It's a good case, and it isn't difficult to take it on and off the iPod. They probably meant you can connect to the firewire port, unlike with some cases (e.g. the one that Apple provides with the iPod!).

You e-mailed me and asked if You could dock the iPod while in the case. I responded YES, but using the Cable. I told you in the e-mail that the cable is the only way to dock it in the case. I did not lie, nor would anyone here at Marware. What sense would that make? So you could just send it right back?? No sir, If you check your e-mail I have e-mailed the original copy to you so you can see for yourself.

ImaniJ.
I sent you an email approximately 30 minutes ago; and hopefully everything is settled now. As I mentioned in the email, I will keep the case. I would not make any sence to pay $20 in total for shipping for something that cost $39.95. I admint that it might have been my misunderstanding that lead me to this point.

In the other hand, I am very happy that at least some companies are watching this
forum to see what their potential custmores might be complaining/saying about.

Speckled Jim.
In deed, it is a goog case. My only complain (besides the other) is that it becomes
difficult to handle when you want to put your remote/headphones away into
the case's pouch. First you have to unstrap the pouch, then you have to unplug the
remote/headphones and put them in the pouch. I guess it would have been nicer if
the pouch itself had been in the outside. But you know, custmores always complain
about little things.

I received your e-mail! This was just a misunderstanding. Maybe next time I'll exclude the word "dock" and use "Sync" instead. Either way, I'm sorry about the inconvenience and next time i'll try to be more clear when asked these type of questions. I hope you enjoy the case (in spite of of the other circumstances).

Akuna Mattata, from the Lion King (No worries).
As a matter a fact, I already got some good comments from coworkers when they saw it. I guess I can learn to love.

We'll do businness later.

no offense, but that's pretty misleading when you use the term "dock"

Yea, I figured that out, even though it's called docking when it's connected to the computer sitting in the dock or using the cable right?. Either way, I understand where the confusion can happen. As I said before, my new word is "Sync".:D
