Waterfield Sooped Dooper & iPod Gear pouch
SooperDooper case is reviewed here for older iPods. The new case for 3rd gen follows up the review. The case is modified a bit, to accomodate the need of using the dock and dock connetor. The slit for dock connector is bit tight, although I was able to squeeze the Pocketdock also in place. The case opens up easily so the iPod can be set on dock without remooving from case. Can't try it yet, the dock is at home, but it seems to be working solution.
Remote/earphone slit is tight and I doubt if f.ex iTrip could fit in with the case. Fortunately, it's quite easy to slide the pod off the case when needed. The fit is not as tight as older model case, which is good. The belt clip is a bit bulky for my taste, but I'll mostly carry it in my pocket anyway.
Then the iPod Gear pouch. It's great. Check out Waterfield website for details, but this thing is worth the money (I ordered these in Europe, so I had to feed out extra 35$ for shipping and I still feel like a bargain). The pouch obviously has room enough for all your favourite gadgets, cables + dock + power adapter + set of audio wires for connecting.
The main compartment has three, smaller and padded holders. One fits iPod without case, but best of all, the biggest fits the iPod with case, so you can easily just throw it in, for extra protection. The slot for iPod is located so, you can left the zipper a little bit open to allow the wires out, so you can also play it when the iPod is in pouch.
The second compartment has two small pockets sewn in, so everything is kept nice and in order. Overall feeling of the pouch is secure and well padded, I have no bad feelings to stow away my iPod into backpack or travel case when placed in this one.
Add to these, well made and quality pouches, really good customer service, and well... I quess you can already quess my favourite case maker :)
No, I'm not any way connected to these guys, but must admit this is third purchase from them and all of them has filled my expectations.
