The black pearl pic is the same as the asphalt..WHY?

Well from the pic acove it looks like trhe asphalt...anyone got any real life pics?

I can tell the difference...using an iBook G4 on the default settings.

You have to wait a little longer to see the eXo black pearl, the eXo molds have been removed from production to prepare them for the expected Xmas demand. You may see black pearl with the new eXo2 before you see it with eXo. The eXo2 mold will be back in production this week and I will try to do a black pearl then so that you have an idea what it looks like.

I was excited to see the iStore's site with all of the color pics of the EXO, but then a bit disappointed to see that they weren't actual photos of the colors (I don't think). I have a ferrari red EXO and I WISH it were that color red, but it's not. So I was investigating, and all of the bluish pearl EXOs have the exact same swirly pattern, which I think Lajo said was supposed to be different on every skin. That being said, the site really is well put together and it obviously would be very difficult and time consuming to have actual photos put together like that.

Thanks for the comments and input. We made it a very high priority to make the colors of the cases on our website as accurate as possible. In fact you may notice that our swatches are different that those found on other sites. We adjusted the colors to be as accurate as possible.

Unfortunately, there are differences in displays and monitors that we cannot control. One significant variant is between Mac's and PC's . All PC's are set by default for a much higher gamma setting and colors are richer than on Macs. This is why PC displays look more saturated in color. Macs are more accurate. In fact if you are on a Mac you can change a setting in your dispay properties to display in a setting called "PC gamma". You can see the difference!

This is one reason why we offer a satisfaction guarantee, in case you receive a color and it is not as expected. Our Ferrari Red in particular is very close to our stock on hand (in a Mac anway). It is also possible that different batches of a color have some amount of variance, but we would need Lajo's input on that matter.

I do appreciate the input though and we will be making many improvements to our store as we expand and add products. Many based on suggestions and comments like yours.
