I personally want to thank for you for accepting the eXo 2 for 1 as compensation for all the earlier eXo problems you had. Today at 24:00 Pacific Time the eXo compensation bonus will expire and sometime this month the people that purchased eXo 15 days before the 2 for 1 will get a special compensation, I am just waiting for our programmer to finish our Bonus Dollar program.

Cool the compensation for earlier customers is comming. Too bad i have such bad luck. I remeber. I ordered my exos 16 days before the start of the promotion. Bad luck for me. Oh well.
And i'm just wondering will that compensation just give people like a $30 gift certificate to your site? Is that what this means: "I am just waiting for our programmer to finish our Bonus Dollar program."

A digital certificate will be added to your file and when you order by logon you will be able to apply as much of this certificate and anyother certificates to your order to bring it to a $0.00

I bought 2 exo's before the compensation, both at full price. If i did qualify to get this money bonus would i get $35 or $70?

I will take the date and go back 2 days to be on the safe side and then 15 days which means it will be a total of 17 days. I don't want to have a question of time zones etc.

Wait. I don't understand. So the people who ordered from iskin.com, and had numerous problems in receiving the iSkin will receive the $35 certificate as well? I ordered from iSkin over a month before this 2 for 1 compensation.

All the people who ordered (paid orders) from my system 15 days before the eXo compensation will get their $35 bonus dollars coupon then those that bought from outside sites will be able to get some from of satisfaction by my Key program. Briefly it is a program from logon ordering and introductions ? when you use your key you will get bonus dollars entered into your account on the first logon these you can use against a purchase - every time you purchase you will get additional bonus dollars entered into you account ? every time you introduce someone or a reseller to www.lajo.biz you will get cash the moment they buy (this cash will be paid to your paypal account) - How to get a Key - for a short time everyone that has bought on the www.lajo.biz (or sites owned by Lajo) will be given a key to enter this function so that they can get their own key. Thanks, I have taken a lot of heat for this bonus from dealers because everyone is upset that I offered such a deal on eXo which is their hotest selling case at at time when the market is moving towards Xmass.

Lajo, I just tried to order 2 of the EXO cases. Your site says that it will automatically adjust the price. However, since I am paying using PayPal, when I checked out, PayPal wants me to authorize $60. I only ordered 2 cases on the 2 for 1 deal. What did i do wrong? I haven't authorized the PayPal yet.:confused:

Our error - the auto shut off is according to the clock on our server in the USA, we thought the server was in California but it must be in a time zone 1hr before that so the bonus was extended 2 hrs to give people a chance to make up for the short break in the auto shut off

You will get $35.00 bonus dollars entered into your key account I would love to make it more but I also have to think of my employees here to make sure I can feed them and remember which other company out there would do this for you? I can tell you this when you use the key function on our site you will be getting a lot more back in cash (money that will be paid to you) and bonus dollars (money you can use agains purchases) and that will put a smile on your face.

I guess those who ordered from iskin.com are outta luck (myself included). I'm assuming that this $35 compensation bonus is to make up for that super long wait customers had when the exos were first released. I'm referring to the super long wait (like 2 months) when the exos were first released and people had preorderd them.

I think I said it twice, but whatever. haha.

thanks lajo for the compensation, u r truly a generous person with a great product onut on the market, one problem though, i ordered 2 iSkins for my iPod a week ago, heres the order:

eXo Glow Electra exo for 10/15gb 3rd gen iPod $30.00 $30.00
eXo Original Ice eXo for 10/15gb 3rd gen iPod $30.00 $30.00

but instead i recieved a 10gig Ice and a 30/40gig Electra, im not sure what to do right now, b/c the 30gig iSkin is a bit too large, should i return it or what?

lol. Well, I'm not counting on iSkin.com providing a compensation.. they have the worst customer service, and don't think much of the consumer. I wouldn't mind a $35 Gift Certificate from them as well, but I'm not holding my breath on that. I was hoping this compensation would apply to everyone since I really wanted an xSkn.

If you want www.iskin.com to compensate you for all the problems you have had you have to do the following, 1st put yourself into their shoes and think of what you can give back to your customers without dieing in the process. They owe you something but that does not mean they must lose everything to do it. You have to take into consideration that to compensate they have to do these following things and all of them are expensive - have people handle the compensation, buy the cases, ship the cases to you. My feeling is that if you go down the middle of the road they will meet you half ways. Don??t say you don??t care because you will end up with what you have now and that is nothing. Put together a proposal and I will help you present it to them. They want to get this matter behind them too.

from what ive heard and experienced, it usually takes DHL about 3 days to get it into anywhere in the US, i live in Cali and it only too 3 and a half days, also, heres a link to track ur order with:

1st go to the iSkin site and logon, then check ur order the the Way Bill number is what u need, take that number and jsut put it in @ the site i gave u and it should tell u everything u need to know

probably not, the only pics i ever posted were when my iPod was wrapped in seran wrap to prevent scratches b4 my iSkins came, but i do have an electra, only problem is that its a 30gig version not the 10 gig, i did however order a Fire Fly GLO iSkin, i seemed more vibrant so i though what the hey, hoepfully Lajo gets my order, but either way, the fact that he's even letting me order one again is good enuf, i can't thank him enuf for this

How's about a 50% off coupon [+ Free Shipping?] for the people who preordered a month or so before shipment? I don't want to put the company into a huge debt or anything, but I also believe they should do something to make up [I was getting sick of the word compensate ;) ] for their past.

Btw Lajo, how come you're able to offer a $35 Dollar Certificate without going bankrupt, not to mention just ending your 2 for 1 promotion...

We have sold over 50,000 eXos and that is a lot of money so we are cash rich and able to back date the bonus to people that missed out by a few days.

Because these case protectors probably cost less than $5 to mass produce, especially in China. I'm not degrading what Lajo has done just pointing out simple economics.

Of course one can argue that the design, advertising & implemenation of the actual product is high (probably a few thousand dollars) but after that phase it's all gravy.

Also it's cost is determined @ whatever the market will bare. It's no secret that the Ipod is a luxury item & as such the marketing is towards a self~fulfilling customer who is always looking for the next "new" gadget.

$5 for the case, $13 for DHL, advertising in iPod lounge $1400/ mon/ advertising in MacWorld $1500/month, in house staff of 11 $?/mon, web server $400/mon/ paypal 3%+ on every sale/ 5% replacement cost/ compensation bonus 50% discount/ and other programs and this should get you to the final price. Of course if you produce a dog you can double that cost.
But remember I am a businessman and I could present an argument both ways.

Also wanted to let you know I received my Iskin cases this morning. I must say I'm very impressed! Form fit & finish is outstanding! The only complaint I have is the "clip" seems kind of useless as I feel it won't be strong enough. I haven't had much of a chance to test it though.
