eXo iSkin vs. Marware
So a few weeks ago I really wanted to buy the Marware C.E.O. Classic for my new 3G... now I'm looking at the eXo iSkins. And with the eXo iSkin 2 for 1 deal ending in a few days, I'm feeling like I should make the decision soon. I was just wondering if anyone had experience with either (or both, preferably) of the cases/skins and what they thought of the protection... also would it be possible to *maybe* (later on) fit a 3G with eXo iSkin in a Marware C.E.O. case?

The marware C.E.O. case will deff not fit with an iskin on. I love my marware (see my review on ipodlounge under reviews). It is the best case, in my opinion, of all the 3g cases.

I've been considering buying this case also. ( I probably will )
Austin, I read your review and it was very helpful, but please don't stand on the top of the Empire State Building and shake it extremely hard. The thought made me extremely nervous

I own both a Marware (3G Sportsuit Convertible) and eXo iSkin. My Marware case is my case for sports, otherwise for casual and day to day use, the eXo iSkin is my favorite for now as it is less bulky. In terms of quality of the product, they are both very good cases. It all comes to taste and needs at the end. If you need more info, feel free to contact me! :)

I went ahead and ordered a Marware 3g CEO Classic a few minutes ago. It should come by Monday. I'll be sure to let everyone know how I feel about it.

Hi bigdirtyfoot (ew),
I'm still on the fence about ordering this case, so I'll be patiently awaiting for your opinions. I'm most interested on how you feel about the removable flap, and the buttons behind it. Also how safe do you think the clip is, iamaustin said something about the clip now swiveling, I don't know if this is good or bad.
I'm using an iSkin for now, but I'm very afraid of the clip, so I put it in my pocket to go jogging; it's a bit unconfortable.
I hope you like your new case, let us know. :)

Okay so I just got mine today. At first thought, I was like "Wow this is really really small". But overall, I like it. I... I don't use the clip very often, so I'm going to keep it off. It's pretty thin... MUCH thinner than the iPod case that came with my iPod. However, I know it can't be as thin as an eXo iSkin... it's still thin enough for me though, and I wanted extra security... I didn't feel like a skin would protect the iPod well enough from a fall (I recently dropped it and it cracked, before I had the Marware case... now I don't even notice the crack is there!). Concerning the removable flap, I'm not sure how I feel about it yet actually. It seems nice, and I'll probably use it for a while, and then eventually tire of it and want to save space in my pocket or something. You really COULD shake this above the Empire State building or whatever. It's VERY secure. And it's not hard to get out either. The clip seems nice, but you have to get a different clip for like 8 bucks that swivels. I haven't tried it... you can if you choose. Let's see, about the buttons behind the removable flap... I don't know what you mean. Um... I usually just keep my iPod on hold. So they don't activate EVER. But with this, if I keep the removable flap ON, I can definitely rest assured knowing that the buttons won't activate through the material. I really like this case, and I'd suggest it. More protection (versus a skin) is what sealed the deal for me.

Oh I didn't explain myself right, I meant the snaps used to attach the removable flap, I saw pictures on the website and I wasn't crazy about the look, but I guess it's practical.
Well, congrats on your new case and thanks for taking the time to write your opinion.
I'm basically looking for the same thing, a little more security than the ix-Skin. I'm almost ready to order this case, the credit card is on the desk...

About the snaps... they look fine to me. I'm not as into style as some iPodders (some are near insane about it though). Even with the removable flap off, the case looks snazzy. Glad to help.
