I think it's quite annoying, and it would be annoying to the people sitting around me on a flight.

yeah that's true. Its surprising that (even though early in the poll) its almost 1/2 yes and no. I would have thought the majority would choose no as is the case with me :)

I turn it off so as not to annoy other people. It doesn't bother me.

yeh what's the point in having it on? you can't hear it when you're listening to music anyway... plus it is pretty annoying.

I don't know what amount of battery life can be saved over such a small thing though Yuckfou, but probably not a lot...

yea i dont understand why they designed it so you cant hear it in in your headphones. seems silly to me, so i just turn it off, and it has the side effect of saving battery life :)

from the main menu goto 'Settings' and scroll around til you see 'Clicker'. it makes a clicking sound thats audible from the unit itself when you press a button or use the touch wheel.

I turn it off. Don't want to waste battery power for non-essential.

I use the clicker to annoy those around me. Plus, its fun to scroll really fast up and down your library, really annoying!

I really like the clicker. However, I'm somewhat new to iPodding...the novelty of the clicker will probably wear off. Also, it kind of irritates the people around you.
