Went I from a 30GB to the 40GB and noticed quite a difference in the screen quality.

I actually like the display on the 30GB better -- on the new 40 it is a darker blue and no matter how much you adjust the contrast it looks kinda blotchy with the back light on.

Did Apple make a change? Tried looking on the forums, but found nothing.
