Best EQ setting..even though it wastes Battery..

WHEN I do decide to use EQ...What is the best EQ setting? I am using hip/hop..but there are too many to go through...can someone help me out with suggestions?

i am using hip hop when i think that there needs to be base..but i usually use either Jazz or Rock

i use bass booster, makes the song warmer, and, well, more bassier

i find that bass booster actually muffles everything else other than that bass. otherwise, it would be on all the time :P

Rock is the best for all-around listening in my experience.

Mine is set on classical. I get a full and rich sound with that setting. Evene with b heavy bass on some of my songs it comes out great.

I dabbled with Lounge and Flat, but later turned them all off in favour of ripping my mp3's with presets already.

i usually have none, but sometimes have bass reducer for playing on my cheap speakers.

adam - my eq distorted before i upgraded to 2.1, now it works fine

I prefer my EQ on Rock. I think it adds a nice touch to any kind of music.

i found out something. i was using the stock buds and to my suprise base booster sounds good! then i put on senn 497's and it sounds like crap, but then i discover i like the Classical setting.
