Reset question (right/wrong forum?)

Not sure if this is the right forum, but here goes anyway :)

What is lost after a 'reset'?

Tracks? Other Data? Preference settings (clock, contrast, etc)?

I searched and couldn't find the answer anywhere.

Thanks...and apologies if this is the wrong forum

Happy listening.

I believe just the pref's. I know your data isn't lots in a reset, just a restore.

I'm sure someone else has the answer. I am however going to launch this over into one of the tech help forums.

Meh, on second thought, I couldn't think of a better place to put this one. I'll keep it here until another mod or admin tells me I'm wrong ;)

**EDIT**: Aaron, it's a great place for it. It's about the iPod and it's, er, General. :D

Absolutely nothing is lost after a Reset. It's just like rebooting your computer.

A Restore is different: everything is lost.

Yeah, so when I said the pref's, I was kidding. It was a joke...a halloween joke ;)
