I just purchased a new 30G iPod and am having a problem with the software updater. I am running Mac OS X 10.3, and using iTunes to perform all my iPod operations. I am able to transfer music to the iPod without any problems. When iTunes starts it says that it needs to update my iPod. I click ok, and then it launches the iPod updater. The iPod updater then unmounts my iPod and says something to the effect of 'One iPod found but not on the desktop.' I then enabled the Firewire drive option but it still does the same thing. Any help that anyone could offer would be greatly appreciated.
