I thought it was just a quirk/feature I was going to submit, until I spoke with a friend of mine who has an iPod (g2), but uses his with his Apple. My Windows iPod behaves differently than his. I don't know if it's due to the Apple/Windows differences, or that mine is a G3 and his is a G2.

When you tap the selection button when listening to a song, and are accessing the "wheel/scan" feature, that allows you to search forward/reverse through a song, I cannot advance to the next/previous song by hitting the appropriate button. I have to hit the select button again and return to the "wheel/volume" screen, before I can change songs. My friend's G2/Apple iPod setup can advance to the previous/next songs and retain looking at the "wheel/scan" mode.

I cannot.

Have other G3 owners noticed this? How about G2/Windows users?
