display letters not as sharp anymore

I have new 30gb ipod and recently installed the new updated firmware 2.1 i believe. Since then I have noticed my screen is not as easy to read anymore. Even when I turn on the backlight the words are not as sharp/bright. Anyone else have this happen, or am I just loco?

As far as I know this has been reported an as yet unconfirmed bug due to the update.Those of us having this problem hope Apple will address/fix this asap.
You can set your settings under "Contrast" to correct the display view.
