Hey everyone

I'm from South Africa and I am a proud (of course) owner of a 15GB 3G iPod.

My Pod is about 2 months old. However, lately I've had some problems:

It started with my remote. Strangely enough, for no reason at all, it started to tarnish like silver does when it isn't polished. Of course, I didn't polish my iPod Remote, but Apple here said they'd never seen anything like it - I was wondering if anyone's seen anything like this before ? :confused:

Then, a few days later, my one earphone stopped working, the sound went from a normal volume to very soft... strange :/ (this was just after I updated to 2.1) :eek:

The Readme for 2.1 (windows) says that they've:
** Added user adjustable deep sleep timer

I saw that there was some confusion in some of the posts about this, has anybody figured out how it is _user_ adjustable yet? I know there is a new file in the iPOD, but I cannot find the adjustable part :D

Finally, my alarm clock has only one option: Which is "Beep". Hehe. Is this the same for everyone else?
