USB cable & USB 1.1

I just bought a 3rd gen 20GB and was wondering if i bought the USB 2.0 cable, can i use it with the USB 1.1 port on my laptop.

yes, it will work fine. usb 1.1 has horrible speeds though, but as long as you send moderate amounts at a time, it shouldn't be too bad.
