30 GB in Toyota 2004 Prius
Alright, so it looks like I will be getting a new 2004 Prius loaded. I want to hook up the pod. Here are some things I am considering using to make it work.
CIG ADAPTER:

REMOTE:

TUNEDOK:

I need an RCA input controller like this: [It needs to work with the 2004 Prius and 6 Disc in dash system.]
RCA INPUT [Toyota]:

Ideas? Comments? Help please.

there probably aren't any responses because it seems you have everything covered. :)
i have the Belkin auto kit and an auxiliary input CD changer adapter, and it works great. i haven't found the need for a remote, tho. one warning: early reviews of the TuneDok mention that it likely isn't large enough for any sort of case or skin; it fits a "bare" iPod snugly.

The problem is that I dont know of an Aux controller that will work with the 2004 Prius because it has navi and a 6 disc in dash. Input regarding this would be great, thanks.
Regarding the tunedok, I would sacrifice that for the goosneck thingy but where can I get the gooseneck?

I'm pretty sure you -can't- get an aux input converter because you already have a 6 disc CD changer. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought the aux converters were made to plug into an empty CD changer port in the first place? so the fact that yours is already taken up is the problem? I also know that while looking for sites that sell an aux converter for my Honda, they all had notices that said "these cords won't work on cars with in-dash navigational systems." So, eek! you might want to actually talk with some car stereo people, or even talk with somebody at a Toyota repair place for ideas? They might be able to help.
