For Sale: G2 10GB Windows iPod w/2300 Songs
I've got a 6 month old G2 10gb Windows iPod that I'm selling as I ran out of room and needed a 20gb instead.
Comes preloaded with MP3's as I don't know how to delete them.
Comes with *unopened* headphones, remote, ear buds, adapters, etc. Used my own headphones instead.
Comes with all boxes, paperwork, software, even the plastic bags and twist-ties.
Recently updated to the most recent Apple software (better battery life, features, etc.)
I'm a 39 year old businessman who used this iPod gently since May. Used only about 20 or so times on trips, the battery life is excellent and the item is in about as near-mint condition as it gets.
Email if interested.

# 2 Re: For Sale: G2 10GB Windows iPod w/2300 Songs
This guy's iPod is still for sale because he is overcharging. He says he is a "businessman" and evidently his "business" is pirating music and then claiming that it adds value to his old iPod (they stopped making them in March 2003 so it is at least 8 or 9 months old if he bought one of the last made).
When I inquired and pointed out that you could buy a NEW 10GB Gen 3 with free shipping and engraving from the Apple EDU store for $20 more than he was asking for his probably year old iPod, he said "If you're a student, then surely you can calculate the value of two thousand three hundred songs atop the value of the Gen2 iPod." I guess he assumes you would be to stupid to pirate your own.
So here is the value of 2300 songs... Between $2000 and $6000 in fines, depending on the deal you worked out with the RIAA and if you helped them bust him.
Normally I would let a moron like this go because he isn't worth the effort. I am all for sticking it to a big corporation but don't pirate the corporations and then use that to try and rip off your fellow Mac and/or iPod users.
