"50 albums" is misleading when all you did was rip an average of 4 songs from each album.Oh and let me tell you how unattractive this auction looks when:
- You have "4" feedback.
- You start the bidding at $199.99.
- Even with that huge starting bid, you have a RESERVE!
I've seen in-box 3rd gen 10GBs go for $220. Why should I start bidding on yours at $200?

Sorry--typo. I meant to put 20 albums. This is the first time I have sold something on ebay, so I wasn't exactly sure what to do. What's bad about having a reserve?
Most of the 3g 10gbs I've seen start around that much, but end up a lot higher. I'm trying to get atleast $200 b/c I want to get a 3g myself.

$200 is just a tad steep for a Gen 2, I'm afraid. Just look at what refurbs are fetching....Gen 3 15 GB was $200 last week, 30 Gb was $250.... what you have is worth about $150, max.

Uhmmm... I'm having a dizzy of a time finding refurb iPods online. Are those prices you're quoting (and I'm quoting too, now) available someplace online? I'd love to save a few bucks on the iPod I'm about to buy but I can't find the ####ed refurbs.

Refurbs come and go, and deals vary widely. The prices I quoted were from Compusa last week. This week the best deal I have seen was $379 for a 30 GB, $319 for a 15 GB and $249 for a 10 GB - ALL Gen 3 though, and all from Small dog.Or $209 for a Gen 2 10 GB, $169 for a Gen 1 5 GB, or $288 for a 20 GB Gen 2 from PowerMax.
So $250 for a Gen 3 10 Gb from a reputed dealer, $209 for a Gen 2 10 GB, or $200 for an old, second hand Gen 2 10 GB model from 'some Joe' on eBay?
That's a no-brainer, IMHO.

Better prices: Still $379 for a 30 GB (still Smalldog), but only $279 for a 15 GB and $229 for a 10 GB from Apple

I don't think that selling mp3's with the player would up the price any more than like $10, because, and I mean this in the least offensive way, I'm sure you have great taste in music, but what if you're a fan of a genre that the buyer hates and just deletes all the mp3's once they get the iPod? Just wanted to tell all you guys with "your doubts", I sold it on eBay for $212.80USD + shipping. I included the mp3s. I just put a little disclaimer saying if you bid on this product, you agree that you do not work for the RIAA and/or will not report me to the RIAA for having mp3s that may contain copyrights. I sent it to the guy and all seems to have gone well. With the money I sold it for, I got a new 3G 10GB! Woo hoo!
