Okay, so I know that no one wants my 5gb pod, but I thought I'd offer it up anyway, perhaps someone out there is doing strange experiements to them and my sad specimen will be the answer to all the conudrums they have left to figure out (hey a girl has to dream, right?)

Here's the skinny on the pods condition: I purchased it off ebay in May for 200 bucks (I'm an idiot, what can I say :D) It has been dropped a few times (okay like 15-20, I let the 3 yo listen to it), and there was a hard drive error on it at some point. I was able to do a fix of the drive through windows xp and reinstall the ipod software, and it quite happily began to work. About a month ago, my sad little pod decided to call it quits, and now will load the updater all the way through, load the music onto it, and then crap out during the first song (crap out=make a REALLY LOUD noise, go blank screen and reboot). This pod has totally seen better days. But, the turn wheel still works, and it will load the music. Maybe someone out there can bring it back to life - who knows.

So, here's the offer, I will sell my 5gb ipod for the best offer I get on it. I don't care if the offer is money (well, of course I care if its money, money is great, mmmkay), a top ten list of the best things to do with a broken pod, a letter in the form of 'my dog ate my homework, can I have a gold star anyway', or any other grand idea that strikes your fancy. Just make sure its interesting.
