I've recently changed to MC9, i'm not sure if this issue is related.

When I play tracks on my Ipod thru' my hifi they are about 10 times louder and slightly fuzzy sounding compared to my CD player - when the volume setting on the amp is the same.

I didn't have this problem previously when i used Xplay but I can't see how the software would affect this.

Is it anything to do with replay gain as i have analysed my files?

Can anyone explain this and recommend a course of action?
