I'm having this problem... I just bought a new Ipod but When I try to play a song, 1. it says now playing, but I can't hear anything! I'm sure it's plugged in and the volume is up too.. and I also tried listening with the remote, but I still can't hear anything. and 2. once I try to play a song, it's like it goes into slow motion.. for instance, I'll play a song, then decide I want to go back, so I try to tap Menu, but it won't move until 30 seconds later. But it's weird because once I finally get one page back, like to the album list, it's not slow anymore. But when you're playing a song, the time bar is supposed to move right? (ex: from 00:00 to 01:00 to 03:00 ... and so on.) It seems to stay in 00:00, but it's not paused.
