Question about iPod disk mode...
Hello gang, I just recently bought a new 10GB iPod and I have a question. Okay, when I plug the iPod into the Firewire port, Windows XP Pro sees the 'Pod and sets it up as a removable drive. In addition, MusicMatch sees it and I can transfer music to the 'Pod. However, on the 'Pod itself, I see a "Do Not Disconnect" message and I cannot play any music. I press the play button or any other button on the iPod, I hear the "clicker" noise, but the "Do Not Disconnect" message stays on the screen.
Is this normal or do I have a problem? I was hoping I'd be able to leave the thing connected to my PC so it can charge and I can just add stuff to the 'Pod on the fly, totally spontaneously.

That's not a problem.
While connceted/mounted, you can manage the iPod through Windows Explorer.
Just drag and drop, -the iPod should show as a new drive on your computer. As for playing music when the unit is mounted, you can do so by controlling it via MMJ, Media Centre, and even Ephpod.

Kenny, thank you so much! You were correct, I plugged in my 'Pod and was able to play music directly off of it using MusicMatch. Now I should go get Ephpod and try it. Thanks again! :)
