i've noticed that whenever i try to read the text files which i've loaded on my v3 ipod (by copying *.txt files to the "notes" directory when the pod is in hdd mode), the ipod has to spin up its hard disk and it's really slow to move back and forth between files...

does anyone know of a way to fix this problem? thanks!
