Syncing iPod to PC question

Hola,
I've got a quesiton 'bout syncing the ipod and my pc. I have a second gen iPod and a nice adaptec firewire controller. Can I sync a PC with an iPod[uploading the music on the 'pod to a pc]? I've never tried it and am curious if it can be done, if so how?

Thanks in advance.

Well, yes. You can do it a number of ways:

Get MC9 and use it's download to PC feature
Get ephpod and use the same feature
Get Xplay and use the same feature

Or, copy the songs directly off the iPod using My Computer/Explorer, then use a good tag editor (id3-tagit, tag&rename), to rename the files based on their tags so they are organized nicely.

One caveat, it's needs to be formatted as a WiPod for this to work. If it's a MiPod your only option is Xplay or ephpod w/MacOpener.
