it was playing fine and suddenly froze.. i reset it and now the folder and exclamation mar appears..wont do anything anymore . doesnt even connect to my pc. ran the diagnostic mode, tells me HDD scan fail!! the ipod updater wont even find the ipod..the ipod itself connects to the computer but u know how under the "safely remove hardware" it also shows "generic volume" well i'm seeing that only the "apple ipod"...is there a way i can forcefully format the hard drive under windows and then i can run the ipod updater to format it correctly. i know that if i can just format the drive somehow under windows i can fix it through the updater after that..somebody plz help me..thanks
