IPOD wont mount
Every time I dock the iPod, it automatically disconnects itself, even though it's still in the Dock. My computer recognizes it for about 10 seconds, then it disconnects and the 'Do Not Disconnect' Screen goes away. Sometimes it will connect. The little hardware icon in my windows tray will come on then go off and there is a little red x over ipod manager. I really need some help. I reset and restored it too and same thing. PLEASE HELPPPPP!!!!

Try uninstalling the MMJB iPod plugin. See if it will stay connected.
If it doesn't, then uninstall the iPod Manager. You can leave the updater installed.
See if it works then...

Oops, sorry. I just made the same post. The only difference here is that I've got a 20gb, Gen2 pod. I've also done those same steps with no luck.

Hey Guys fixed the ipod... Got a 30 dollar belkin 3 port pci firewire card and stuck it in and windows installed it itself and the ipod works great. NEVER USE USB 2.0 lol.. Go for firewire its cheap easy to install and saves alot of time. I love it.,.....
