Need help determing what type of USB I have

Probably an easy thing to figure out if I knew more about computers. Can anyone tell me how to determine if I've got USB 1 or USB 2? I've got a Compaq 5000 series, 1.2Ghz. Its a couple years old.

I'd say its most likely USB1.1 and not USB2.0 if it is around that old. Look at documentation that came with your computer, there should be specs somewhere, the 5000's I saw after a search looked like they had 1st gen USB and not USB2.0
