Question about the IPod...simple question
Well, I just got my IPod working, and well I had a question.
So I just finished downloaded hours of hours of music on my computer from CDs, and now I am going to put it onto my IPod.
Well, say in 2 days, I downloaded three songs on my computer...do I have to then put everything on my ipod "again" (The hours of music that I would have put on a few days ago) PLUS the three new songs.
Also, if I go to a new computer of mine...do I have to put all the same music that was on the other computer onto the new computer?

Somewhat confusing question...
If I am reading this correctly then the anwser is that once the songs are on your ipod, they arent coming off until you delete them. If you want to put those 3 new songs on, go for it. You dont need to "reload" the other songs. Downloading a program like ephpod will help you also.

Highlight the songs and click the delete key.
I'm guessing you're using MMJB? Then it's done in the Portable devices window of MMJB.

What happens when I get a new computer (which is soon), and put the discs in and then I'll have MMJ on it but it will have no songs...then I download something...and have 1 song in MMJ...then when I put the songs onto the IPod...will it only have 1 song on it?

No sir. When you put music match on your new computer, and then hook up your ipod, you will still have those songs on your ipod. Think of the ipod as a portable drive, like a "C" drive. Those songs are not leaving your ipod unless you click delete in MMJB or ephpod, which ever program you use.
What I'm saying is, when you connect your ipod, MMJB take a little time to recognize it as it always does and then it will show all the songs you have on your ipod, even if there is only ONE song on your computer. Now, you wont be able to play these songs on your computer unless you transfer them over to it, this is a whole different subject already covered on this site.
Dont worry about it.
My advise is to download Ephpod, search for it at google.com, it is much MUCH better than MMJB. I know from experience.
