Ipod installer and install shield BS
My computer was able to install programs whose installers were made by installshield until I installed the ipod software.
After the installation, I can't run any installers made by installshield.
The error msg reads,
"1628 script bsed error" (may not be right word by word"
This happened both on my laptop and desktop.

I cant install the Ipod software at all
I get a msg "unable to install InstallShieldScripting Runtime"
I have no clue what that means.
Basicly I cant use the thing at all!

I can't find it now, but I've seen this here before in one other post. The poster was able to resolve it by getting an update to installshield from their web site.

I had a 1628 installshield error as well while installing iTunes. It will not recognize the iPod afterward. I did like Apple said... went to Installshield, followed their instructions, downloaded their updates, and NOTHING HELPED. When I checked further, Installshield says to check back with the iTunes software people (Apple).
