AAC and Windows Ipod
Hi gang,
Has anyone else noticed that when you download AAC songs to the Ipod and they are played, it shows the incorrect song length?
Is this a bug?
Cheers

I just don't think many people are using AAC on their Windows iPod. You might possibly get a better response on the hydrogen audio message board at http://www.hydrogenaudio.org/.
BTW what software are you using to sync. It's quite possible that it is simply a bug in ephPOD, the one you are most likely using, since it is still just a beta release. You might want to try the Sveta plugin from dbpoweramp to see if the same problem occurs.

Sveta is defently better then ephPod IMO. I think svata is the only good program to upload AAC, I had a lot of bugs with ephPod. I just wish that MC9 would get AAC support ...
BTW: how do you tag AAC files ? With what program ?

Only way to get tags on the files that I know of is to rip and encode with Sveta. Foobar2000 will supposedly tag to the iTunes standard, but that is not supported by ephPOD, or Sveta, so you are pretty much stuck with Sveta, or ephPOD with no tags.
