Poor Battery on a 30gb winPod
Hi all!
I'm experiencing very poor battery preformance on my 30gb winPod. I have never tested it fully but I estimate that it has a 3-4 hour lifetime (tops), wheras it should pull 8 without a fuzz. I've had these problems ever since i bought it.
I updated its firmware to 2.0 immediatly after puchasing the iPod, and recnetly to 2.0.1. Could it have to do with these new firmwares?
Are any of you experiencing any similar probelms?!
What do you reckon I should do?! Return it to Apple for a new device?

I'm only getting 4-5 hours on my 10G 3G iPod. I think you only 8 hours if you leave the backlight off, set volume at 50%, put contrast pretty low, turn EQ-OFF, and assuming you're not playing games while you're using the music playback function.

So, here's my status:
Backlight: Off
Volume: Varies from 30-75%
Contrast: Approximately 35%
EQ: Off
Never played games om my iPod.
So it should do about 8 hours i think. =|
