I recieved my 5 gig Winnie pod in January for my b-day. It just now, in June, got it's first song.

After trying endlesly for months to figure out how to get this thing to work on my HP Notebook with XP op sys, I finally bit the bullet and bought a new firewire card.

Tadah, within 10 min. of returning home from the store the Ipod has 500 songs on it!!!!! :D

So for all of you wondering about 0 second song lenths and corupt files, and CRC errors, just take my advice and get a new firewire card. I bought the Adaptec fireconnect 3-port for notebooks. It was $99.99 @ Circuit City

I am now enjoying my new toy after rescuing it from paperweight status.
