iPod stops playing while running

I have a 20 gig ipod and it works great when it is sitting on my desk. When I want to run with it outside it does strange things. If a song is playing and I start to run as soon as that songs stops my iPod locks up and will not play the next song. When I reset the iPod (Menu & Play button) it takes a long time to reset but when it finally does it gives me a picture of a folder and will not show me the music on the iPod. I have to put my iPod down for a few minutes, reset it and it will play just fine. This thing is useless to me if I cannot run with it. What should I do? Thank you so much for the help. - Brian

If you run with it, try to hold it in your hand rather than let it jiggle in your pockets. Hard drives don't like that sort of shock. :Dvkeks05 at 2007-11-15 17:06:49 >

I have tried to run with it in my hand with the same results. This thing plays great when sitting on desk or out cutting the grass but not while I am running.:(bkclark at 2007-11-15 17:07:50 >
