File Organisation
So far I have copied all of my albums and a selection of singles, and these are sorted fine - Artist/Album....
However I have a large number of random MP3's that I would like to add aswell - Can any of you advise on the best way to organise them. so far I have not made any play lists as I will mostly listen to an enire album in one hit, but for these randoms I will be using the playlist function!
cheers for your input :)

Don't know if I understand directly what you are getting at? What system are you using?
I just make sure any "random" mp3s I might have are tagged appropriately by artist, title, and album they came from if I have it and then they are organized on my iPod or in iTunes this way.
Cheers,
Stu

Thats sort of what I after!
Here's what i have so far My Music>Artist>Albums>Songs
All fine for the Albums and Singles - but what about tunes that you have no idea about - ie shows from radio, DJ sets and totally random tunes that you have one idea who they are and where they come from - do you add them to the My Music folder or you you create another folder in there just for these?

what does it matter, IPOD could give two hambone's how your files are located.
I do it simply:
1) All albums have their own folder in the "albums" folder in my music. They are tagged artist/title/album/track #. That is it.
2) All music that is not contained within an album (superfluous mp3's) are only tagged artist/title, and put in the my music folder, alongside the album folder.
It works well, and whatever folder you keep all these mp3s in you can sync with, very easy.
