doubble tag
If a mp3 file is doubbel tagged id3 tag ver1 and ver2 wich id3 tag does ipod read.

Well, the ipod doesn't really read tags. The program you use to synch takes the info from the tags and puts into the appropriate place in the ipod database. So, it's a function of whatever program you use (and most use ver2 at this point)...

Chris is right (as usual).. ;)
Best to delete v1 tags IMO. Most any program today is able to read v2 and as I see it, it just prevents you from having to manage version 1 and makes my files just a tiny bit smaller. ;)

Read chris' comment. It doesn't read tags at all. It know squat about tags. The program you use to upload reads tags. So...the question is, what program do you use to upload?
Most can read both, all the more reason to get rid of one version so the program doesn't get confused...
