Double albums on your ipod... do you merge them?

Most of the time I merge double albums...
what does everybody else do?
I like it better so I don't have to switch back and forth

I think iPodage means that s/he takes both cds and puts them under the same title... you'd change the track numbers of the second cd to put it after the first cd, and such.

I used to do that but I stopped... they're two separate CDs now.

Nope I don't, but the only double album I own is Kruder & Dorfmeister [K&D Sessions]. I've ripped each cd as one mp3 in order to have no gaps between the tracks.

I do merge them into one CD. Rarely do I want to listen to just a half of a double-cd set. So, this is easier to just play the whole album...

My only double CDs are Broadway soundtracks, so the answer is definately yes.

Oh, almost forgot, I had one other: "Then" by They Might Be Giants, which encompasses their first three discs plus bonus tracks. I broke that up into 4 separate discs to reflect the original recordings.

Be sure to use "Albumize Selection" off of Doug's Applescripts for iTunes to handle all your renumbering requirements.

I had to merge them for the Led Zeppelin box set... What I did was put the same album title, but in the info, i put that there are 4 cd's, and sorted them... This way they are still together, but separate... Works like a charm... Oh, and they remain in order...
