same reason they cancelled futurama. if they sense a show may be funny or rate well they cancel it and give us stuff like 'oliver bean' or 'stupid show for people who suck'.oh...and because they are made of dumb.

People complained that the show was offensive. BTW its back on cartoon network on adult swim 11:30 est pm weeknights.Family guy, simpsons, futurama, and southpark all the way!

I've written many letters to Fox to put Family Guy back on. That show is funnier than south park, simpsons, and king of the hill. The only joy I get is from watching re-runs on teletoon.(This is turning into a cartoon chat. . . lol!)

I am VERY sorry for comparing family guy to south park, and simpsons... What I meant to say was that Family guy has different types of humor... like the time peter wanted to eat a stapler... its just plain stupid... the simpsons is a little more realistic, but still hillarious... South park is funny because of what the kids do... It is very unrealistic, but that's what makes it funny...
Right now, Simpsons, and family guy are in a tie, and then comes south park... I have all the episodes of all of them (in amazing quality), and watch them daily. Does anyone want to start a petition for Fox to put family guy back on the air?

South Park all the way! (y'all dinna see that coming, did ya?)It's incredibly well-written, I think. And the fact that the main characters are 9-year olds makes it even better. These kids, who at time do normal, naive, 9-year-old things, often times have more common sense and foresight than the adults in the town do. They're like little muses.
Family Guy would be my #2 favorite cartoon. After that, it's a tie between Samurai Jack and Sealab 2021. (Calamine rules!)
