Anyone else playing EQ for Mac?

The subject line says it all. Everquest finally came to Mac this week, and I'm curious to see what other members of the Mac community think of it.

I'm going out on a limb but I'll guess that EQ for the Mac is at least as good (if not better) than the PC version. I would presume they would apply their experiences from the PC version and apply it to the Mac product.

Kinda related...I've never played EQ but do you know if Galaxies is coming to the Mac? I've been kinda interested in that...but...I'm always a bit put off by the concept when I meet EQ radicals in-person..."some of them peoples just ain't right..." ;) ;)

As my father told me when I was a kid, "Beware a zealot of any kind." ;) Anybody can get sucked into a computer game for a while, but the ones who spend 30 hours a week playing instead of sleeping scare me.

I haven't heard of them porting Galaxies yet, but I hope they do.

Sorry, not me Cate - I do not play computer games, other than an occasional arcade-style simple-minded type of shareware game. I just do not have the patience for those really involved games, nor do I want to spend a lot of time in front of a computer, as I do that for a living.

Not that there's anything wrong with being a gamer - it just ain't me... ;)

I'm pretty new to it, myself. I was hoping to find someone who could give me some pointers because I'm getting rather frustrated! (And a little motion sick from the 3D movement, embarrassingly.)
