dean0, while that would be amusing it's actually not the case. messenger 6 has been in private (but external) beta for quite a while.video conferencing has been around for *years* (e.g. netmeeting). this isn't revolutionary stuff. ;)

AMGi wasn't infering that it was something "new" i've actually been involved in setting up some video conferencing training programs before, back when the best you could hope for was 2fps over a 28.8.
i just actually came across the download for msn 6 today, and saw some similarities between the two, and wondered if this might step-up microsofts release of the software (and maybe get them to develop a version for the mac that has all the features of the PC version)
