Now all I need is a broadband connection, but that doesn't seem to be in the works unless Qwest gets its poop in a group. :(

hmmmm, looks like Microsoft just released a preview of messanger 6...... could this be due to ichat AV?

dean0, while that would be amusing it's actually not the case. messenger 6 has been in private (but external) beta for quite a while.

video conferencing has been around for *years* (e.g. netmeeting). this isn't revolutionary stuff. ;)

One of our cameras quit working, I think.

this isn't revolutionary stuff.

But: it's incredibly fun!

i wasn't infering that it was something "new" i've actually been involved in setting up some video conferencing training programs before, back when the best you could hope for was 2fps over a 28.8.

i just actually came across the download for msn 6 today, and saw some similarities between the two, and wondered if this might step-up microsofts release of the software (and maybe get them to develop a version for the mac that has all the features of the PC version)
