Songs for C.C.R
After hearing numerous suggestions about how to help poor Kurt get some of his songs back, I thought the best way to do it is to start a list right here.
So, c.c., if you're listening, how bout giving us a list of your missing tracks so we can find some of em in our own collections. Then we'll send em your way, ASAP!
Hope this helps.

Awwwww!! :) :)
I dunno how I feel about that, though. I've always been kind of an "up and up" moderator, and I don't want to use my own personal reasons to go off on a hypocrital binge. Wouldn't be right.
Although, dig this! I've got four friends at work that have iPods and each one of 'em's come up to me and offered their pod up. Imma do that tomorrow and see what they've got. One of em's got a 30GB. Woowoo!
The real holes that I don't think they'll be able to fill will be a bit harder, though. And since it's been on my mind to talk about it anyway, some of the things that I don't think they'll have which I'll miss the most are:
I had every Bad Religion album after Stranger Than Fiction and I also had All Ages I had every Pearl Jam album. Well, the LPs at least. I'm not down with all those bootleg albums, though I've often wished I had the big, nice live album they did in Seattle I had all 9 of the regular Cafe Del Mar albums. As it is, I had podded over Vol 7 and 8 (the best ones) to a friend, so I still have those. My friends aren't much into Trip Hop... I had mad Trip Hop, at least I thought it was. Hooverphonic, Portishead (and the Beth Gibbons "acoustic" album), Massive Attack, Thievery Corporation, Lovage, Gus Gus... the list goes on and on... good tunes, all. I had the essential West Coast Rap collection; Dr. Dre's The Chronic and the first albums of all of his prodigies.
Isn't interesting how we sometimes feel defined by our music? I mean, lookit that list... what's it say about me? I should spend more time in the Music Exploration forums.
Don't y'all worry much about me, I'll be okay. Heh, of course... If y'all want me to, I can go to like amazon.com or some site like it and set up a shopping list, ;)

ok people. it?s not the best timing, but please conduct all music offerings via pm. let?s remember ipodlounge?s rules about music stealing. this is an extraordinary case, but no need to give the cynical people ammo, ok? this whole incident has that one good part, that we as a community have grown closer. cheers, lads! :)

Very well said, mate. Rules are rules, and I want to keep my rep as a "hard ###" around here, :D
I've gotten a LOT of PMs, btw, hehe!
(PS: I unlocked the thread, I don't mind chattin with folks and this thread has a much better vibe than the other one does... so just keep mrm's advice in mind, guys. Thankee again... y'all rule!)
Edit again: Okay, this is probably the least humble thing that I've ever done, but based on the PMs I'm getting (much love again, :D), I figure it's best to come out and say that if you wanna help, please do so legally. Here's a link to my wishlist (http://www.amazon.com/o/registry/3GJDEN0O7CAVA). (OMG I can't believe I'm actually posting this.)

What about kurt?
# 17 Re: Songs for C.C.R
Kurt doesn't have a barr body at present, but it appears he is diligently trying to obtain one or two...(Good luck BTW, all us married guys are living through you vicariously now..)

I don't know but I guess I have one.
# 20 Re: Songs for C.C.R
LMAO!!
Females have two XX chromosomes, only one of which is active, otherwise they'd fight over things such as hair style and shoes--the dead one forms a barr body, which is easily seen underneath a microscope on stained cheek cells. Males do not have barr bodies, as the they have an active x chromosome, and a y chromosome (except for Timmy, who has extras).
